This is my project that is featured as the picture of the week on concretenetwork.com.

Thanks for the start years ago.

I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks for all of your help and support through this, my first project since going through your DVD training.

I did not attend your hands on training, but plan to in the future. You were great about returning calls and taking time to help me understand your answers to my questions.

I would like to see your advanced courses take place on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rather than during the week as it’s very hard to be gone from my business that long.

I have attached a photo of the completed project. I removed these windows and replaced them with these larger ones. I decided to rock this wall rather than just replace the existing stucco. Thanks again for everything.

My name is Keith. I've purchased your DVD course and its Awesome!!

I've been building rockwalls for six years now here in Hawaii. Two years ago I started getting alot of side jobs. So I decided to take a step towards self employment. It's been a "Fake it. Till you make it" couple of years. Don't get me wrong, customer satisfaction and a good reputation is always my primary concern. I take pride in my work.

Studying your DVDs have been so inspiring! I have an enormous fish hobby and I've wanted to learn how to properly build fish ponds and waterfalls for some time. Thankyou.

I just wanted to send pictures of my newest pond - I can't say how much I've enjoyed the opportunity to achieve better and better construction techniques from taking your course.

Looks like I'm launching a pond business from just the referrals of people that have seen my latest pond.

Your course was the best Pool Construction class I've ever attended and I've attended a ton of them. Your photo portfolio has helped me fill my schedule for months.

People can't believe they're not real rocks. The money drawn on the first job eclipsed your course fee. I am glad that I attended your class, again yours was the best.

I was in a real jam. We thought we were going to outsource this project to a mason we've used for several jobs in Scottsdale. He promised to come down to Tucson to do this job but never showed. Thanks to your class and coaching over the phone we actually pulled it off! We also found out who the real men were on this job.

Your hands-on class probably saved me thousands of hours in experimenting. I have known how to build artificial rocks/boulders for 25 years but unless I took off my glasses or drank 6 beers, they always looked artificial.

My first job after your class could pass for anyone's inspection and they would not think this was man made. Recovered your class fee on the first pool and more important the customer was dazzled. Again, thanks.

I am a General Contractor and I always wanted to learn how to make artificial rocks and waterfalls to add to my homes to give them a little something extra.

I saw Boulder Images ad in the mail so I signed up for the course. It promised to teach me how to build a waterfall in a 2 day course. I went to the class and we did build a waterfall in 2 days and learned about deck coatings as well.

I was real excited until the end when we had to buy their products in packages from them. I mainly wanted to build landscape rocks and a few waterfalls. I could only buy packages from them that included pumps and hoses for the waterfalls. Plus the fact that I would have a 3 hour one way drive to pick up the products, I'd lose a whole day.I thought I would be able to buy the products anywhere to build the rocks, but that wasn't the case.

I went home and that was the end of my rocks. That is until I saw JPJ Technologies ad and decided to call them. They offered a course in rocks and waterfalls and said they would teach you how to build them with materials available at most hardware stores.

Not wanting to go through another course and be sold 'packages' at the end, I called them to confirm this. I talked to a nice lady and she signed me up and sent me a huge box of hands on course tapes and materials to watch. Before long I knew that this was the course I was looking for.

It teaches a lot of ways to build rocks and waterfalls for pennies on the dollar compared to the 'other' course and I get all my materials locally. I learned how to make all of the secret mixes the Boulder Image course offered in packages and a lot more including deck mixes. The hands-on part was a lot of fun learning how to texture rocks and how to paint them.

Jim at JPJ Technologies kept his promise and you couldn't get him to sell you anything. Now to the bottom line, having gone through both courses the JPJ course was more expensive up front but so far I've built a large double waterfall, a 15' oval boulderized planter, 5 large boulders and still haven't spent what the class cost in materials.

Any questions and the JPJ support is only a phone call away with the answers. Many thanks to JPJ Technologies for enabling me to create just about anything out of rocks and enhancing the beauty of my homes for next to nothing. I am an extremely satisfied customer.

I took my training and was able to create a beautiful water feature that has got my own business started. The techniques that JPJ has taught me is the gate to success!

I am pleased to have received the CD - DVD package, and have spent the last couple of days playing them. Your credibility was certainly enhanced by first addressing, in depth, the vital business principles that may facilitate success, or can virtually assure failure by omission. I wished that I'd been forced to pass that test instead of rushing to state boards, when I graduated from medical school forty one years ago!

Dear Mr. Jenkins,

I just wanted to sincerely thank you for your instructional DVDs on "faux" rock building.

I have had the DVDs for over a year now, but have just only recently had time to apply the knowledge to a real sculpture.

I have to tell you that I got such pleasure out of creating this sculpture that I am planning on a water feature next spring.

I want to relate to you a small story leading up to my purchasing of your tapes; I am not in the pool business and I am not a mason, I just wanted to do something creative so I looked on the internet and ran across a company that was giving a seminar in Akron. I signed up right away.

When I arrived there were probably 30 people in the 2 day class. Although initially intrigued by how quick the features could be finished (2 to 3 days) I was disappointed by the appearance as well as the fact that the company providing the seminar was just pushing their pre-packaged product, which by the way was exorbitantly priced.

I seemed to be the only one there that was wondering why we couldn't just make our own formulas. Being a total novice I didn't know what was in the formulas that is until I received your DVDs and manual.

I was dissatisfied with the whole weekend and went back on the internet and I found your company - thank God! By the way, I don't think I should mention the company's name, but the pre-packaged bags had only obviously contained polystyrene beads and cement. They were very cautious and secretive about the mixes such as the hydro seal.

I have to laugh now. I am very fortunate that I found your company and ordered your DVDs. I only regret not having been able to attend your classes. Your willingness to share your formulas has been invaluable to me and my hat is off to your company.

I now have something exciting to look forward to - a more creative me. Thank you so much!

Jim -

I found your training program to be the most complete in the field of synthetic rock construction and deck resurfacing. I have attended training by others in these areas of construction. Their so called training courses (seminars) are not anything more than a two day sales pitch for their products, with just a few of the basics and little or no tech support.

With your course I was provided visual and written tech manuals with more than just a few of the basics. You have a complete in depth instructional how to and what not to do course that not only covers the basics. It is more detailed than the other courses, but by far surpasses their training. Your are one who has been in the field teaching your course and not sales personnel along with one person that has some working knowledge.

You teach all aspects of synthetic rock: from material used to hand placing and casting techniques to creating realistic looking rock features. (not throw and go - use our material - technique taught by others.)

Since your success comes not from material sold after the course, but by the success of those attending the course, you can and do offer honest and complete in depth training. You show a genuine willingness to give tech support after the 3 day training.

I would highly recommend that anyone wanting to enter the field of synthetic rock construction, deck resurfacing, and even those in the field should attend your School of Synthetic Rock Construction.

I have found that the knowledge that I received from you saved me the cost of the course on my first large water feature in material cost alone. I have also found that by using your methods that I can offer a better product to my clients.

If you choose to use pre-packaged materials or use your own on the job mix you can only benefit from attending JPJ Technologies School of Synthetic Rock Construction.

Hello Jim and JPJ,

After completing your 3 day course in Oct. 2002, I returned home and made myself some rocks. I boulderized over my dog houses and turned them into caves, made landscape boulders for our only gas station, and a boulder wall that was 45 ft. long and 9 ft. tall. They were all pretty impressive.

I do not have a construction background; I am not a contractor. Therefore, I hesitated to build a water feature. Well, I finally built one in my backyard and WOW! People are absolutely astonished at the result. They wonder where I got the boulders and how did I moved them there. It is a pool and a spa; I just followed the instructions from the DVDs and the manual.

If a novice like me can build it anyone can! I give your course an A+ and many kudos! My wife is very happy!

Mr. Jenkins,

I wanted to drop you a line and some pictures to let you know how good your Technical Manual and DVD's on synthetic rock construction is. With what you have in the course and a little hard work on my part I built a flume and fountain in one month. This was the first fountain I have ever built.

My customer Dr. Koan is very happy and said that I took a look in his head and built it exactly as he dreamed it would look. Dr. Koan wanted the features to look like he walked up on it in the woods and to match his house color.

Thank you for the helping hand.

Yes the rock is awesome! The school is right in your back yard. They are out of McMinnville, OR. Here is their website www.jpjtechnologies.com

I have been to a lot of schools over the years, overlays, stamped Concrete, acid finishing etc. and JPJ is by far the BEST school I have ever been to. The support after the school is by far the best also.

I can't say enough good about JPJ. I don't get a dime for this so this is not a paid advertisement, I just honestly think it was the best school I've ever been to, I paid for 2 guys, me being one of them, to go to the class so I had 2 of us ready to hit the ground running when we got home.

I'm looking forward to a great summer making rock. One other thing that was a big deal to me is they don't set you up so you have to buy materials from them, infact they don't want to sell you stuff, you can get everything your self. So many other places want to sell you over priced product while they bleed you dry.

JPJ is awesome! Its money well invested. Good Luck.

Wow! I am very impressed with your work - particularly the work you do with Natural hot tubs and synthetic rocks. I've always wanted to learn how to do that. How did you learn?

I finally finished my first attempt! I still need to finish the landscaping around it, add some more plants inside and then add some fish. Since I rent the house, I made it as a two part component system.

I am so happy with it and I could not have done it with out your great course!

I recently met someone who took your course. He spoke highly of the information. I'm interested in how much it costs and what your availability in Fairfax, VA is.

Greg

Hi JPJ,

I hope this message reaches Jim, I wanted to let him know that I was asked to give a presentation today to the Oregon Museum Assosciation on Dynamic Exhibit Design. I told the group of JPJ's amazing DVD course on faux synthetic rock, everyone was very interested. So I hope there is a spike in DVD sales, Just wanted to share the news.

Thanks for all great support over the years.

Tony Vialpando

Thought you might like to see the pond I made using the info from the DVD course.

Check out:

I'm still expanding and improving the construction and if I weren't so old, I could start a business from the requests for pond builds from neighbors and friends.

Jim and all:

I attended your class in Arizona about 2 months after Sept 11 and learned a lot.

I didn’t do anything with the technology until 2007 when I built my own pool. I bought the DVD course as a refresher before I started. It took 8 months of working nights and weekends but I’m proud to be able to say that I built the entire pool myself thanks to what I learned from you.

I thought I would share the results because I made these rocks and designed the pool with the concepts I learned from you.

Thanks again,
