Fake Stone Applications

Fake Stone is popping up everywhere.

Fake Stone is popping up everywhere.    Many years ago fake stone were mainly used in water installation projects.

Fake Stone made from state of the art synthetic material, polyurethane, and color pigments are used in molds to create the authentic looking, veneers used on simulated fake stone panels, as well as brick panels.    With countless variations of products on the market any project can be done easily and can be done as a “DIY” project. 

Molds are now being used to have the look of fieldstone (smooth and textured to resemble rocks plowed in farmland), soapstone, flagstone, slate as well as brick. Fake stone molds are also being used to recreate ocean coral for aquariums’ and fish tanks. 

The use fake stone and rock are being implemented to create realistic attractions, as well as replicas of natural like habitats for the animals.  Water parks and other underwater attractions having been using faux stone and rock to recreate the feel and look of the Ocean.   Golf course, hotels, resorts are taking  advantage of the industry by using fake like stone and rock to create waterfalls and other natural looking displays for there guests to enjoy.   

Landscapers have been using fake stone for water installation projects for years, now you are seeing many outdoor projects.  The landscaper is able to match the fake stone, brick or rock, to look similar to actual stone that are indigenous to that particular area.   Using fake stone or brick for walkways, patios, or skirting around pools are ways that landscapers are using faux rock. 

Fake stone is used both in interior and exterior projects.  Many buildings are now using fake stone panels on the outside to look like real stone structures.  Many builders are using this process instead of stucco or actual brick mason material.

Fake stone is here is stay and are being manufactured and used by project mangers, designers, landscapers, and even the homeowner to accentuate the home or commercial project.
